Household Essentials Hamper in Coffee Linen with Lid

Wanted a light hamper that could be carried down the stairs. This works great. Easy to wipe inside and the lid is nice. It doesn't fall into the basket but lays on top. I keep it open most of the time but the option to close the lid is great. Holds a week of summer clothes for 2 people. Unsure if week of winter clothes will fit....jeans and bulky sweater may fill it up but the idea to get 2 (if we had the room) would be nice because then you could sort whites and darks with the hamper instead of dumping hamper in laundry room to sort.

The hamper is just as depicted, nothing more nothing less. Just what I was looking for.

We really liked this product in theory; fit well in the space had a lid and was portable to the laundry room. When it arrived it however had a distinct odor which was anything but pleasant. After calling customer service it turns out there was an issue with the anti-mildew spray [...] replacement still had an odor but was much less than the first. Overall I like the hamper but am hoping the replacement will become less pungent as time passes.

THIS IS THE 1ST REVIEW EVER I WRITE,A GOOD PRODUCT, I LIVE IN A VERY SMALL CONDO, AND IT FITS PERFECTLY IN THE SPARE BEDROOM, AND IT LOOKS LIKE A PIECE OF FURNITURE...I WOULD HAVE GIVEN IT 5 STARS, EXPECT FOR ONE TINEY TINEY PROBLEM....IT HAS A VERY BAD SMELLL BASICILLY IT STINNKS, DONT KNOW IF IT IS THE GLUE THEY USED OR WHAT..HOWEVER IT IS VERY NICE, AND I USE IT FOR LAUNDREY...THE HANDLES ARE VERY PRACTICALE TO TAKE TO AND FROM THE LAUNDRY ROOM...SO BE PREPARED FOR THE BAD SMELL..I DO HOPE IT GOES AWAY....I HAVE HAD IT FOR 2 MONTHS...BECAUSE I REALLY LOVE IT..IT LOOKS EXPENSIVE....
