My family uses this water filter everyday for drinking, cooking, coffee and even for filling our dogs' water bowl. Personally have used Brita, GE and Everpure systems in the past. This thing beats them all in taste and freshness. We fill and chill reusable plastic bottles and there's never any hint of plastic taste or stinky plumbing odor even when the bottles are left out and warm up a bit. Straight out of the faucet this water tastes really clean and refreshing. Water doesn't need to be super "cold" as with many low-end carbon filters. UV/ozone is definitely the way to go. Installation is easy for DIY types. A bit pricy up front for sure, but worth every penny you'll save on bottled water. Bought and installed one for my mother-in-law and she loves hers too. Absolutely maintenance free. Changing filters is a snap. BTW, it's not Aluminum as the description says. I checked with the company and it's all approved plastic for drinking water."..."  Read more

We recently bought this faucet as an upgrade to our existing Insinkerator hot-only dispenser, as we installed a reverse osmosis filter system and needed to integrate the cold water dispenser. The chrome faucet looks great with our existing kitchen faucet - simple, yet elegant. I liked the fact it had built-in high pressure water supply hoses. They hooked up directly to the water supply shut-offs, fewer chances of water leaks, more than enough hose. This faucet works great, but comes with very poor instructions, and was missing the o-ring for the spray nozzle hose. When installing, do not attach any water supply lines until you have it mounted and put the rubber ring, washer and nut on the bottom. None of these pieces will fit over the water supply hoses once they are attached. Fortunately the spray hose is a standard 3/8" fitting, and I was able to salvage an o-ring out of the old water supply lines to prevent it from leaking."..."  Read more
