Hot Knobs Metallic Cabinet Pull in Fractures Black

Clear covered or straight up, these glass pieces look great. All Hot Knobs products start out as a 20 x 35 inch sheet of glass. Hot Knobs craftspeople use over 450 various colors and textures, and carefully cut each piece of glass by hand on a cutting board. They then clean, glue and stack layers of glass. This stack is placed into a kiln and the temperature is slowly raised to 1,450 degrees Fahrenheit and slowly brought back down to room temperature. The glass is cleaned again, a standoff glue is applied, and then the glue cures to full strength over a period of 24 hours. It's intricate work for the West Coast-based fabricators and a lifetime of pleasure for you!
