Not so long ago on the beautiful beaches of Hawaii came the inspiration for the hotflops™ you see today. Though it has been through some slight evolutionary changes, the product that is so popular today is not far from what was originally conceived. Linda Spann, the inventor of the patented design, knew that there had to be a better way to fun and expressive decorations onto flip flops without using things like staples that hurt or strings that break. Out of that thought process to solve a problem, came hotflops™! Since then they have been growing and having fun coming up with new designs and they are limitless! Hot Flops is a small company led by a team of people with various backgrounds including footwear, apparel, computers, and retail and all have experience working in big companies. They are focused on delivering unique footwear for those people who live joyful self expression everyday and creating a company that engages the three P’s of business… profit, people, planet.
