Squeaking may be because..
K from Niskayuna,Ny
I hear some users speak of Squeaking, they have not posted there weight, which may be in access of the machine or close to the limit* I think that may come in to play. Please post weight to give the consumer an idea. Thank you. I give it a 4 because it mat not be perfect . But for an average weight person i think it shall do just fine to tone up more.

We are very happy with this machine and the price was great as well! It will be very convenient to be able to work out in the convenience of my own home.

So far so good. I have used this every other day for the past month and I have just two minor complaints. The handle loosens a tiny bit after a few uses. Not a big deal to tighten and the stride could be a bit longer. I am 5' 9" and it feels like it could be longer. But other than that it was so easy to put together, it took less than an hour and I did it all by myself. The instructions were perfect. Each step of the assembly had it own sealed bag of screws and tools. Perfect. It is quiet, no squeaks.

[...]had a 11" crack in the plastic covering. It has a loud sqweaking while operating. We took it apart 4 times and greased and tightened but it still sqweak's. I like all the features and it's movability. I wouldn't purchase agian just because of the noise factor. It's very distracting even with my I-pod turned up.
