This is a spacious, beautiful, well-constructed dresser, but there are a couple of things any potential buyers should consider. It is a somewhat cooler shade of gray than in the photo, and either the paint or the drawer wallpaper adhesive has a strong, unpleasant smell that will take quite a while to air out. The drawers are removable, so my suggestion would be to pull them out, thoroughly wipe down the inside of the dresser with a damp cloth, wipe the sides and the inside of the drawers, and if have a backyard or a balcony, air out the drawers for a few hours before putting the whole thing together again. It might still retain some chemical smell on the inside, but much less noticeable and it will be on its way to disappearing that much sooner. That being said, even with [...] the initial hassle of making it usable for linens storage, it is a good-looking and sturdy investment.

Service Review

The product did arrive in good condition and the delivery team was friendly and fairly proficient, but the company that employs them was atrocious. They scheduled the delivery, and I had agreed to their time, they canceled and rescheduled for the next day, I had agreed again, they canceled again and I asked for the following Saturday before 5PM; they agreed, then scheduled it for the next Thursday after 4PM. I tried customer service, it was no help, I tried to get CSN customer service to help, that failed too. The delivery company finally promised to deliver it before 5PM on that Thursday. Needless to say, the delivery showed up at 6:30PM, resulting in a citation from my co-op regarding oversized furniture delivery after hours through the main entrance (since after 5PM, the service gate is inaccessible). So not only was this aggravating, but it actually lost me money. It was a logistics nightmare, and I advise anyone dealing with HEP Direct to switch their delivery company at once.
