This desk is truly beautiful. It is a perfect size for my apartment office and the workmanship is outstanding. I love my Hooker furniture. I bought this desk to go along with the hutch/credenza. My only one complaint is that the desk is smaller than the credenza by about 1 ft (I didn't check the measurements). I was expecting it to be the same length. This desk is as nice as it looks in the pictures. The craftsmanship is very good. The materials and hardware are excellent. Its hard to see in the pictures but it has hand carved trim and legs. I conducted an extensive search for a desk and this is the best value that I found anywhere. I have recommended this to friends already. The workmanship is excellent on this piece, as would be expected from Hooker Furniture. The bow front is particularly attractive. The leather inlay is not the highest quality leather but will suffice for a writing desk. Drawers pull smoothly, and hardware is of quality."..."  Read more
