got it right away, was pretty easy to put together, but I did have to do a little custom work to it as one of the drawer rollers where to far out and had to get something behind them and longer screws other wise it went together without a problem. Mine was assembled with lots of peices that where clued together so it doesn't look as nice as in the picture. So be aware of that. over all I like it and have been using it all the time.

I couldnt be happier with this kitchen island! Here are some of the high points - The wood is beautiful nice grain all parts match up well. - My major worry was that when the leaf was up it wouldnt be level with the rest of the island. That definitely isnt the case. Its completely flush against the counter, with just a small dip where they meet. With a placemat or runner, you cant even tell its there. And it adds so much space! Also, the leaf is quite unobtrusive while down. - The leg that holds the leaf up is very sturdy. There is a small piece of wood with a notch attached under the leaf that it fits into. - The hardware handles for the doors drawers are quality. - The assembly directions were spot on! Took time but went together smoothly. - Good amount of storage space. My bread machine fits in the bottom of the middle cupboard, with my cookbooks on the shelf above. The drawers arent tall, but my stacked measuring cups fit with no problem. Hopefully that will give you some idea. I would purchase this kitchen island again without hesitation.

I got this item to help add more counter space and storage to a galley kitchen. I love it. definately recommend as a two person task for assembly. The only probelm I had was with the drawers. the labeling a directions were confusing. I honestly thought all the N parts went for the N drawer and the same for the O drawer. Boy was I wrong; some of the N parts went on the O drawer and vice versa. After I put it together wrong twice I finally got it. I did not attack the knife block as I store my knives up higher away from kid reach and after i had install the towel Bar I later removed it, as it was blocking my trash pail from opening proper. I wish more faux wood plugs would have been provided to allow for this small alteration. Other than that I am really enjoying this counter. It's sturdy, attractive, and has lots of storage.

Make sure you have another person to help you put it together. The instructions were clear and it was relatively easy with two people, but it took awhile. It looks beautiful in my kitchen. I use it as a kitchen work surface and an eating area. I bought stools at [...] that match it perfectly. It gives me some extra storage space which is desperately needed, but many of my bigger pots and pans don't fit in the cupboards. Overall, this is exactly what I needed.
