Pantry in Cottage Oak item Product Review I’m a 34 year old female. I first saw the item while shopping on walmart.com. I compared with Wayfair.com and found the price to be the same but Wayfair offered free shipping. I would recommend buy directly from Wayfair. Once the package arrived I unpacked the pieces from the box and I got started putting it together. The directions were easy to follow, didn’t need a lot of tools, and the pieces were in good shape. I used several sized Phillips screw drivers and one small black n decker power drill for attaching the back panels. I did practically the whole thing all by myself, except when it came time to stack and connect the completed bottom portion to the completed top my husband helped. Once it was done we put it in place and filled it up. The pantry looks great! I was really pleased with it, although I admit the price was a little steep. Overall, I felt it was quality construction. Service Review The package arrived on time and in good condition. |

Very sturdy and pretty I use the lower section for all my cookbooks. The upper cabinet I put all my baking products in because my pantry in my kitchen is too small and this is just perfect. And if my dining room was bigger I buy another one to go with my oak table and chairs. |

Oak Pantry We had been looking for a free-standing kitchen pantry for a while. This was the best quality pantry we could find for the price. We had it in two days, it was easy to put together, and is attractive. It is sturdy and functions well for it's purpose. |

NOT WORTH THE MONEY! This is a largely very flimsy peace of pre-fab furniture with no tools and poor instructions that ultimately looks good and more or less serves its purpose, but doesn't nearly deliver what it should for its going internet price ([$]).Elaborating slightly, the back panels are made out that flimsy basically polished cardboard stuff, and most of it is fairly light weight. The only pieces with any substance to them are the bottom, middle, and top segment pieces. I do not understand why they would put that much weight on the top as it made it top heavy when I tried to move it after building it. I don't think it's a danger just standing where it is, but I wouldn't recommend nudging it into "just the right spot" without excercising caustion. It did not come with any tools or info in the description or on the box of what you will need, so FYI you will need a screw gun and a flat head screw driver. The instructions definitely leave out several steps, but the design is so straight foward it's not that necessary, just poor customer service.Ultimately, the piece looks good and holds stuff on its shelves like I wanted, but I'd be amazed if it survives a move to a new location, making that a lot to pay for a top heavy flimsy thing good for one location when I'm a renter. It would not be a bad thing if it were a fraction of the price, but it is absolutely not worth the money. |
