Color is much darker than shown...more antique oak not golden oak, matches mimwax poly shades stain"pecan"(not the golden pecan) if you want to check color at the hardware store. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that there are double doors in front as well as in the back - same for the drawer which can slide out either side. Even as a solo female with minimal toolbox savvy I mastered assembly in less than 2 hours. Product Review Great piece of furniture, the color of the wood maches our cabinets; easy to assemble it takes about 3 hours to put together .The only issue was one of the feet screws came off the wood and had to be glued.
