Mostly one person could do it but there were definitely times that 2 people were needed.The chairs are very comfortable...we would absolutely recommend this to anyone. Was this helpful? Yes / No

All pieces were labeled nice and neat (including hardware), very easy instructions. So impressed with the quality of the wood ~ This piece is heavy, strong and very sturdy. It is very beautify and exactly what we were looking for, glad we placed the order with the table that had the matching chairs. The distressed wood looks great. Product Review First off, there isnt a person who comes into my already beautiful custom built kitchen that does not comment how beautiful and practical the island is. I absolutely love its appearance and utility PLUS the price couldnt be beat. No one will believe the low price. I did buy it as a clearance item, ie., it had been returned, but no one could possibly guess that! One other wonderful feature was customer service. The young woman on the phone knew I needed it for a party and she did everything she could to get the shipment expedited . . . and I didnt believe it, but I did have it in time for the party. Shari from Marin County, CA	5.0 12/5/2011 Oak Kitchen Island with seating is DYNOMITE! I couldnt be happier with my Wayfair Oak Kitchen Island. First off, it is gorgeous, very classy looking in fact, while the my kitchen cabinets are very expensive, my island looks more expensive. -) There was assembly required, but the directions were very clear. Delivery was fast and no damage. I would definitely buy from Wayfair again.
