FYI The counter top is NOT real stainless steel. It is metal that LOOKS like stainless, so it gets water stained.

This is a very attractive piece. The drawers alone have 16 pieces-with screws, to assemble. The directions are good. Allow a couple of hours for assembly. One drawer doesn't open and close properly. Otherwise, I would give it 5 stars.

Good quality, easy assembly, fast shipping except for minor dents on the stainless countertop. Will definitely recommend to a friend!

The island arrived with one incorrect part. Customer service was excellent and the replacement part arrived within a few days. Works great for our small condo. Plenty of extra storage and counter space, even with housing our microwave. Easy to assemble.

This piece is primarily as advertised. All the parts were included, and the manufacturer even had the good sense to include a couple of extra, key hardware components (e.g. screws, bolts, etc.). Solid construction of the countertop and the island was apparent. On the downside, one dowel was machined incorrectly and had to be cut off in order to attach the center panel to the back brace. A couple of small defects in the cherry wood in visible places dropped this purchase from five to four stars, but still a good value overall.

This Home Styles Kitchen Island is a great value! It is very nice looking and I put together easily although it took some time. One of the inside threads was missing for a screw-a bit of a setback but I went to my local hardware store and they helped me solve the problem. The only negative is that I wish the drawers would pull out further. For a flat packed furniture piece, I was happy with the overall product.

This island/server is great. The quality is good and it looks like you spent a lot more money on it then you did. It took a long time to put together and getting the stickers off each piece of wood took a long time.

Just relocated and I am renting a house that does not have much kitchen counter space compared to what I was used to. This unit seems to meet my needs as a functional work top and extra storage space. My only complaint is that the Stainless Top scratches easy. I noticed after opening a bottle of wine, the glass from the wine bottle left scratches on the surface of the stainless steel. Item was easy for me to put together, although I don't mind putting together these types of things. Directions are easy to follow compared to some items I have assembled in the past.
