Guests always come throught there, so they can just hang their coats right up. Only thing that we did not care for is the lid of the bench does not match up 100%...there is a small gap on one side. Everything was so expensive and I saw a bench/storage shelf in the barn catalog. Loved the idea but was almost a grand!! I searched for something similar and am very, very happy with this attractive piece! Looks great in my entryway and serves a purpose. We are very pleased. My husband is very handy. He put the bench together and he commented it was not as easy to assemble as he would have liked. However, having said that, we are still very pleased.
