This bed arrived very quickly with no damage it was well packed. I bought the Honey color and it is slightly darker that what is pictured. The feet are very dark almost a cherry wood finish. It has variations of light and dark strands and is quite beautiful. The feet blend in perfectly with my floor which is very dark cork. The bed did not come with instructions for assembly of the Headboard which is in five pieces. Luckily I was able to get the instructions off the website. The screw holes for the upper stretcher did not align properly and I did have to drill new holes. I am a 55 year old woman and if I can assemble this bed including drilling screw holes then I am quite sure most anyone could do it. The only reason I did not give a five star rating is due to the lack of instructions and misaligned screw holes. It is a beautiful bed and very sturdy. I highly recommend this bed.

If you are on the fence about buying this don't be. So easy to put together, even for a novice. you will need a box spring with this bed, I have a 16" high pillow top mattress and even then you would have been able to see the wall between the mattress and head of the bed. However, I felt that my mattress would be too high with a box spring. Being full of bright ideas, myself and my husband took the existing supports on the side rails and moved them up to the top of the rail, we also had to heighten the legs on the 3 cross rails but voila, it worked and really wasn't that hard. We put a sheet of plywood across just for extra support because I have a few very heavy visitors! looks great!
Gorgeous bed, with better color than in picture!
Lori from Ann Arbor, MI – Verified Buyer
This been is nearly perfect! The picture doesn't do justice to the color which is more of a tan with some variation due to the darker strands running through it. The only thing I would change is the length of the rails-they don't need to be that long and there is a gap either at the head or footboard, depending on how you position the box spring. The footboard is quite thick, so if you have a smaller room, you may want to consider getting just the headboard. I gave it five stars because it is so well priced and is a higher quality item. Very unique bed! Pros: The Honey version is gorgeous, better than picture. Cons: Rails would be better a few inches shorter to avoid a gap at head or foot board.
great bed for coastal decor
Kim from Wilton Manors, FL – Verified Buyer
Highly recommend this bed. Very nice quality. The woven material is done very well. Would be lovely in a Tommy Bahama, british west indies or coastal style home. If you're using a mattress greater than 11"H, I would recommend using a low profile boxspring with this bed. Otherwise, it will be very high and makes the rails look weird. I ordered the Honey color. Only gave it 4 instead of 5 stars because the feet were a completely different color than in the photo. Feet are more of a light mahogany, like shown on the darker bed color.
Very pleased - only one small negative.

Love the look of this bed in my master bedroom. I purchased the honey color. The headboard has a darker grain line running across it that cannot be seen in the pictures because of the pillows that are propped up against the headboard. I think if would look better without that darker grain but, most likely, would not have changed my mind about purchasing the bed. I was surprised, though, that none of the other reviews mentioned it. The bed is very well made and my husband had no problems putting it together.
Beautiful Expensive-Looking Bed
Diane from Las Cruces, NM – Verified Buyer
This bed is beautiful and I have received so many compliments. It arrived in perfect shape and my grandson put it together in about an hour 1/2 including the separate bench. It perfectly holds an extremely heavy and thick mattress (queen size). Pros: Great value because you do the assembly. Cons: I love the natural banana color. Not familiar with the darker color.

Adds a sea-breezey kind of touch to my guest room. Can mix and match with any decor, though I have concentrated on the sea motif. Was delivered quicker than I expected. Easy to assemble. All the parts included. No complaints!
Cabana Banana Bed

Absolutely love this bed. Very high quality and unique. Make sure to not tighten the bolts in the headboard until all bolts are in place. Otherwise there will be an alignment issue.
Allison from Ashburn, VA – Verified Buyer
We love this bed! We ordered a queen mattress with box spring and it looks great! If you don't have a box spring you will have a large gap at the headboard. Would recommend this bed. Great price compared with other beds this style.
