Pretty table; can scratch easily
Megan from Arizona– Verified Buyer
This table and chair set is just right for my kitchen. I love the color. There were a few drawbacs, or at least things to note about the finish. It does chip easily, and the table is not completely flat across the top--possibly a design that was planned to give it a more rustic and/or hand scraped wood-like feel. I like the clean lines and the comfortable wood chairs--no cushion needed. Do be careful when assembling--if you OVER-tighten, it can pull the embedded nut right out of the wood, and then it can be hard to fix, though not impossible.
Good style, solidly built, finish issue

This is a very well designed and built set, with the exception of an error in the finishing job, which is apparent when the sun shines on table. There is a 3" wide by 3' long variable stripe that is under the top finish layer, which looks like the table needs to be cleaned off, but upon wiping its clear the mark is under the existing finish. Too bad, otherwise a nice set.

This set looks good, until you get it in your home and assemble it. Then you realize how "cheaply" make it is. My table began getting a crack in the top, we put the leaf when we got the table and when we removed it the table started sinking in the center and we can no longer get the leaf back in. It just doesn't fit. Then the hutch and buffet began cracking and the right door doesn't fit correctly. I hate this set and kick myself for trying to "save" money rather than buying the set I really wanted. You get what you pay for.

this is not a review but a question. Do all six chairs fit around the table, without the extension
Fabulous quality and great price!

I shopped extensively to look for a quality mission/arts and crafts dining set for our breakfast nook. Most of what I found elsewhere was sheer junk or way too expensive for what we were looking for. You won't find such value with such quality anywhere you look! [...]the assembly was a breeze. Highly recommend!!!
Bruce from Perryville, md
This table was easy to put together. I would suggest going to [...] and get better wood screws (16), since the heads grind off easy. It is a very sturdy table. I would also recommend putting some gorrilla wood glue when putting the chairs together even though they have screws and it is still sturdy. This table goes great with our hardwood floors.
Worth for the money, but could be cheaper

Did not have any problems, but it is not as big as a normal dining table one would buy from a furniture store,I wish it was a tad bigger.
warped and cracked in 60 days!!
jjg from Colorado Springs, CO
When I went to use the leaf the first time it was warped and cracked and useless. Since it was past 30 days they refused to do anything to replace it!
This was exactly what I wanted
