This was the easiest one I've ever put together! The past pieces of furniture I've bought and needed to be put together the drawer, doors had to be put together. This kitchen island the drawers, doors and other parts came already assembled! This piece of furniture I would definitely say it is a true and honest "SOME ASSEMBLY REQUIRED!" Was this helpful? He was initially skeptical about the quality when he arrived, but as put it together, he commented on how well it was made. Other than a small dent on the top wood piece (not significant enough to bother with a return), I am very happy about the quality and look of this island. Plenty of storage for baking dishes and bowls. I did not have any problems with the hinges properly supporting the ledge. Well worth the price! Was this helpful? Yes / No

rattler60 from richmond , texas	2.0 7/1/2011 really not worth the money this product was fairly easy to assemble except the first several steps , only took two people 2 hrs. thats about the only really good thing i can say. the back of the island is cheat wood and could easily be kick in if used as a breakfast area. all the shelfing is cut too small , there is too much play in the shelfs. for something that cost almost 800 dollars the value for the buck falls way short....when companies sell stuff that is made in china beware you probably not gonna get your money's worth... Don't be of the "distressed" finish, its a couple of distress marks on the top, but it looks good. I had to be a little creative putting it together, but for the most part it was easy.
