Good for the price

We bought this bunk bed for my boys, ages 6 and 3. I was worried at first because after we bought it, I had seen where some people said it needed a "bunky board", but once we received it and put it together, we realized it was fine as is. Each bed has several (six, I believe) sturdy wooden slats that go across the bottom to hold the mattresses. I love the built-in ladder, though it is pretty narrow and wouldn't accommodate a larger child or teenager very well. It took my husband about 2-3 hours to put it together with only a small amount of help from me. Every piece was labeled, and the directions were easy to follow. The only nitpicky thing I have to say is that all the little labels are not easy to remove and leave a little sticky residue behind on the wood. I'm sure I could get it off with something but haven't tried. All in all, we are happy with these beds...the color, the style, functionality, and the ease of assembly.
Sturdy bunk bed, good value!

We ordered this bunk bed in white for our sons who are 2 and almost 4. We'd looked around at tons of other bunks and decided upon this for it's smart & classic style, price and also after reading other reviews. It arrived earlier than predicted which was great and apart from lifting one bed on top of the other, my husband put it together pretty easily and by himself in around an hour. Only slight problem was that one pary of the ladder had the holes drilled on the wrong side, but customer service was great and got a replacement part out to us in 2 days, amazing! Some reviewers have mentioned damaged parts and while there were a couple of small dents and scratches they really aren't that noticeable and let's face it, with two high energy boys using the beds I'm pretty sure they will be creating their own dents and scratches over time!!! All in all I would recommend this bunk bed and I think it's great value for money.
Great Bunk Bed for the price

Got this bunk bed in white for my 4-year-old girl and 6-year-old boy. White color looks great for a shared boy & girl bedroom - modern and simple. We've had it for about a month now and it is holding up fine and seems very sturdy. My husband, who is a carpenter, used his cordless power drill with a allen key shaped bit to assemble the bed. He really recommends using a cordless power drill or else it will take all day to assemble! It took him about 2 hours to assemble with the power drill. Overall very happy with this purchase. Good quality and good looks for a good price. And the kids love it too!
Not as solid as everyone says it is

Going off the reviews I took a chance and purchased the white bunk for my 2 daughters (3 and 7). It was not hard to put together (powerdrill is needed with allen key bit). I the quality is better than the cheap stuff you find out there but no way should you consider this solid wood. I guess other reviewers have never dealt with real wood before. My girls love it, my wife loves it, So I guess I have to like it (dont love it). Definitely needs a bunk board if u follow the directions when putting on the planks. I did not and spread them out about 8 1/2 inches apart and it seems to hold up better. Most definitely needs more planks and you will need to buy some wood and cut it yourself and add it to the bed.
Beds are not identical when de-bunked

I purchased this set for my sons who are 2.5 and 4.5. They are too young to use them as bunkbeds. The photos I viewed before purchasing the set seemed to indicate that the beds would look identical when separated. That is not the case. The lower bunk has corner posts that extend higher than the top bunk. The photos I viewed seemed to hide that fact, though I later went back and saw that photos for the other finishes made the difference clear.

Plan on at least 2 hours to assemble. Well worth it for the price. I LOVE the way they look set up. Clean lines and simple. The ladder takes up no floor space, Love that. I bought 6" memory foam mattresses from Wayfair to go with these and they are perfect!! So comfortable! My 14 yr old and 11 yr old are happy. Using at our vaca home. Not too tall, which I like but if you're looking for being able to sit up on lower bunk you want a taller set. Overall, I'm very happy with this set AND Wayfair...Keep it up!
Great, sturdy bunk bed!

We bought this bunk bed for our daughters when we moved into a smaller house and received it within TWO DAYS of ordering it. The bed took my husband about two hours to put together by himself and it is very sturdy. The finish is beautiful; we went with the darker mahogany (?), I believe, instead of the oak. The ladder is very sturdy and my girls (6 and 4 years) have no problem climbing up and down. This is a great buy for the value and recommend this product to anyone looking to purchase a bunk bed.

This bunk is simple but elegant. It took me around 3 hours to assemble with the help of a electric screw driver and my 4 year old son. It fits in our apartment perfectly. The unit comes with 7 slats per bunk. Some folks mentioned more slats would be better but I believe that's not the case as more screws can weaken the integrity of the side rails. I purchased a bunk box aka home-depot lumber section 1/2 inch thick ply wood the length of the mattress for added support.
Solid and decent

I put this together entirely on my own. It took creativity to live the top bunk, but you can lift it on your shoulders once the boards are installed and it's quite easy. Overall the bed feels solid, but I don't know how it will hold up against kids. Right now only the bottom bunk is being used for an adult.
Bunkbeds for 2 boys

We purchased this set in espresso for our two boys ages 4 and 6. Wayfair was the best price for this specific bed set. It arrived in a timely manner and was easy to assemble (as long as you follow the directions closely) everything was in the package that we needed and it took us less than 3 hrs to assemble with both my husband and I working on it. Very impressed with the quality of the wood and color and how sturdy it feels put together. I would absolutely recommend this set to friends and family.
