Bulldog Custom 24" - 30" Bar Stool

The name "Bulldog" represents the sturdy nature of this seating line that includes a side chair, armchair, barstool, backless barstool and matching benches. The side rails on this chair are extra thick to support the weight of people climbing up and leaning onto the chair next to them. The back slats are raised from the seat to allow for easy cleaning. Upholstered seats as well as solid wood seats are available. The wood seats are sculpted at the factory to ensure a comfortable sitting position.

Otrabha from Houston, TX	4.0 3/21/2011 Good bar sto0l I choose this bar stool in the all-wood version from Wayfair because it was immediately available for shipping. It is comfortable, seems to be well made and about half the price of what I could get locally. Other Holsag chairs might be more comfortable but I needed one sooner than the 6 weeks lead time. This one's good enough to get me to order another one custom to match. I'm extremely picky when it comes to comfort and have tried many others. This one works for me - there is no wooden support on the front between the foot rest and the bottom of the seat support that prevents me from comfortably placing my feet on the foot rest. Any cross member in this area greatly hampers comfort for me. The seat back does not allow me to sit back as far in the seat as I would like (other Holsag versions looked like they might be better in this regard), but the Bulldog works, the price is right, and I'm sticking with it.
