I have a small section of wall to the entry of my bedroom and this piece added a great look. Shipping was fast, and there was no damage to the piece. I didn't understand other reviews where buyers mentioned they had to put it against a wall. Yes, the back of the piece is unfinished, but I couldn't see this piece not being placed against a wall. Cons: I didn't like the difficulty of putting this piece together. I've never been good at putting furniture together though. This piece is well worth the price. The finish is more like a cappuccino (dark brown) color. Back is not fully stained, so you will need to fast it the back against the wall.
