Good looking but assembly is a hit-or-miss
Syed from Jersey City, NJ – Verified Buyer
These are good looking chairs - they look in real life just the way they look in the pictures. However, assembly - while not difficult - was a pain. This is due to the alignment of the holes in the chairs. I bought 4 of these, and 2 of them were very easily put together. But the other two were tough due to the screw hole misalignment. By the way, a couple of other reviewers mentioned that you need a drill for the seat cushion - that is not fully accurate. It is true that there is no screw-hole at the bottom of the seat cushion, but you can simply tighten the screws with a screw driver, and the screws will get in the wood material. One piece of advice I can give you when putting this together: please do not tighten the screws until the very end. Basically, put the screws in and create a loose structure first. Then tighten the screws. Otherwise, the legs may not be level.
These a great chairs

We bought two chairs to try out finishes and assembly before buying six more, which we ordered today. Fit and finish are excellent for relatively inexpensive chairs, and assembly wasn't bad. They're very comfortable and light weight. Though it's not necessary, it DOES help to have two people to do the assembly, and while the four wood screws per chair WILL adequately penetrate the wood seats without drilling, a 764 bit in a power drill makes matters a lot easier for un-practiced hands on a screwdriver. Hardware comes with an L-type hex wrench, but a hex drive on a screwdriver handle makes installing all these machine screws a LOT quicker. A small and sharp scissor is handy to trim leatherette away from the screw holes in the sides of the back so as to easily start the two long machine screws. Enjoy . . .
Sturdy but took awhile to put together
William from Cocoa Beach, FL
Got two sets with the matching table. Looks great, construction was consistently good with all 4, it's very light and sturdy. The only complaint was that you have to screw in the seat cushion. There were no holes or guides for them, so it would have been easy to mess up. Have to take your time to line the cushions up the same way for each chair. Other than that the construction was straightforward.
good value--difficult to assemble

The chairs look very good and are comfortable, but assembly is difficult--the pre-drilled holes do not line up
Great looking chairs but...
John from Massachusetts
These chairs are GORGEOUS. I love the style. They look just as displayed on the picture. The assembly, well, it's like any other piece that needs to be put together. For most part, I advise to put all the machine screws into the back support without assembling first. That way you make sure they all fit in and reinforce the threat so that you don't wear it out and make it more difficult to assemble. The only downside and the reason of the score I am assigning to this product is that it has a Warning label that says This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. I guess I'll keep these chairs for a while but definitely replacing them in a couple of months.
Nice chairs for the price
Brandon from Los Angeles, CA – Verified Buyer
For the price, these are pretty nice chairs. I searched high and low and simply could not find similarly styled chairs for less that 400 or more for a pair, so I'm glad to have settled on these. They are fairly simple to put together and quite sturdy. If you are on a budget, consider these casual dining chairs! Initially I ordered 4, and then ordered 4 more a few months later.

Great modern slimline chair, a little hard to assemble. Took some time and patience. But overall a great lightweight chair!
Minoor from houston, TX
Ordered 4 chairs. All arrived on time. Good looking. One chair had a screw hook not aligned. I figured out a way to put them together.

Difficult to make the legs even when assembling
Kimberly from Los Angeles, CA
Some of the chairs are a little wobbly because it is very difficult to make the chair legs even when assembling. However, I really like the look of the chair.
