Easy to Assemble...

The parts are clearly labeled -- just make sure you read the instructions carefully. They do not provide enough wood glue to do the dowels - at the end I was putting a 'wishful coating' on them, but the lack of glue should not be a deal breaker - have some Elmer's nearby and you'll be fine! (But that cost them 12 star in my book, rounded down - I am a tough grader!) This is not furniture to last 10 moves, or as an heirloom piece, but it's finished nicely, solid, and perfect for what I need in space I need it - it looks visually more interesting than a plain rack and shelf case. I used mine horizontally for a low shelving unit under a wall-mounted TV for the cable box and knick-knacks in a bedroom.
Good quality for this type of furniture

Purchased for my husbands home office realizing that it was not what you really call furniture. He has a home office with furniture that the Company supplied from Scott Rice so we're talking about the same quality. Wanted to add some interest to the front of the desk that faces the entry and wow this did the trick! Assembly was not difficult just a little time consuming but the look is really great and it feels sturdy. Only reason I did not give it five stars is that the covers for the cam holes were stickers rather than plugs. In the end you really don't notice but really I think they could of supplied plugs.
This is a very unique shape for a book shelf, I knew it was just perfect for my space ... however ...

The pieces were originally all wrapped in Styrofoam sheeting and supposed to be held in place by Styrofoam slabs, however, the pieces and the accessory screws etc. came loose and wandered throughout the carton.
Beautiful and not too difficult to put together!

The end result was well worth the 48 bolts, nuts, etc. that at first were daunting. We placed the finished unit on its side to fit a space that was just right for displaying pottery, basketry, and other small art pieces. Perfect!

I bought this piece with the intention of turning it upright as a vertical bookcase for holding family photos. I chose black frames to match the black wood-grain look and it looks fabulous. I also have to say this was THE most fun I have had putting furniture together. It looked intimidating at first and was actually one of the easiest ever. It doesn't have millions of different types of fasteners, only a few types and put together much faster than expected. And I LOVE the fact that it comes with concealers so you don't see a jarring silver fastener at every corner. LOVE, love, love it.

Out of the box, the thought of putting this case together may seem daunting, but it really is not. I had it together in under an hour and am very pleased with it. Its design is different than the typical case and catches your eye walking into the room. Knick-knacks, photos, books, DVDs, or even a decorative lamp look good on this. I have it standing vertically kitty-corner in the room and it adds something to a bare corner. It is not over-sized, just a good sized stand. If I hadn't had to put it together myself I could have given it a 5 star rating...

I purchased this for my husbands office. This isn't the largest bookshelf, but the design makes up for that. My husband needed a shelf to put all his Comic Books, Drawing Books, and Bibles. This worked out great, in the little niches he added his collection of Action Figures. They really look great on it. I only wished that it had one more level of shelves to actually accommodate all of his books.
Geat quality and look for the price

This unit is relatively easy to assemble. It is very stable and has a good weight to it. The cubicles are big enough to hold coffee table size books yet small accessories don't look lost on the shelves. A little smaller than I visualized but fits our narrow living room beautifully. Very versatile as it looks good down or vertical like the picture.
Using it as a TV stand!
Lynda from Frankfort, IL
I have laid it on its side so that it is long from side to side and not tall -- it looks fantastic and I couldn't be more pleased!! The only issue I have is that it has been a few months since I put it together, and already some of the joins are loose and separating. Overall, however, I'd buy it again.
Great photo stand
Janithri from Stamford, CT– Verified Buyer
We bought this bookcase/photo stand to keep our wedding photos. Everyone who visits us admire not only our photos but the structure of this stand. It came very neatly packed & Was very easy to assemble. I liked it the moment I saw the pictures & when it was all assembled, I knew I made the correct choice. Great value for money!
