Hokku Designs Bradshaw Unique Bookcase / Display Cabinet in Red Cocoa

This is a beautiful, sturdy bookcase. It really added a nice touch to my living room. It was well packed and arrived quickly. The downside is, it is a real PAIN to put together. The screws strip easily so don't use a power screwdriver. They also are hard to put in. I had to press really hard for every single one. There are about 50 or 60 screws. It took me about 7 or 8 hours to put together.

This turned out well but I was a little daunted by the time and effort it took to assemble this bookcase. After I got the hang of it it went okay and it turned out beautiful. I'm going for a modern look and it really looks great.

This is a beautiful unit. Took about 2 1/2 to 3 hours putting it together. Was working alone and some of the shelving was not marked so had to use a process of elimination. Very sturdy and beautiful finish. When assembling this buyers will find some pieces clearly marked with white numbered labels which helps immensely, but others had a red number stamped on the unfinished end and often these can not be read due to the texture of the unfinished end or the fading of the red on the number. In all the unit is perfect for our needs and we felt the cost and the quick delivery after ordered was awesome. Items was packed very well. No damage or missing parts.

I love this bookshelf. Great design. Quite good quality.The assembly took about 2 and a half hours - I have done alone without assistance. This book shelf is multifunction model (what I like very much), not only for standart-size books, but also for DVD,CD and my music scores :-)

I love this bookshelf; however, putting it together was a pain. It literally took two evenings. I love the final product.

The very easily marred finish and the poor quality of the piece kept this from being a 5 start rating. You will get what you paid for: the piece is very stylish, the piece is easy to assemble and all the parts were included. It arrived on time, as well. Overall, this is good 'starter' furniture...

I was looking for something unique and finally found it! It is a solid piece of furniture with a rich dark wood color. The downside is that it is extremely heavy...I had a hard time getting the box into the house...but took it piece by piece into my study and organized the shelves by number... I put it together myself in a couple of hours...it was not as difficult as some reviews claim! I absolutely LOVE this bookcase!!

I just put togther my bookcase, This item was pretty easy to put together but i did take some time. One suggestion would be, is to use the glue that is provided. It does help. Im happy with the out come of the bookcase, good buy.

The styling is great. It is a perfect size for our space. It is a great value. It is well worth the price. The construction is sturdy. The instructions were good, but did take four hours to assemble. Appearance is good but if you are mixing with high end pieces you will be aware that it is not on par with more expensive furniture.
