I have had handbags made from the same product and I know they were easy to keep clean. The sad thing about real leather is it is a lot of work to take care of properly.Like granite counter tops endless bother. This will be just fine and it will look good in a few years too....
Squishy and Looks Great! ^_^

Like most futons, when you lay this flat and sleep in the middle, you will feel the bar. It's not uncomfortable nor does it hurt my back, but you will feel it if you move around. As a sofa, this is really comfy and squishy. It's also really compact. As a bed, 71" long is just enough for me to sleep on without my feet or hair dangling and I am 5'2". If I was any taller, I would probably have to sleep on it with my knees bent. I like that it has no arms so you can sit at the ends. Be careful when you're eating on this, you don't want crumbs in the cracks. I also like that it's "bi-cast leather" so when I spill something, it's not that hard to clean. The space underneath is just high enough to fit those Sterilite under-the-bed storage boxes (the 74 Qt. one without the wheels at 6.375" high). It's also exactly wide enough for those long body pillows.

Good, but not perfect

A little hard to assemble, since there's no pre-drilled holes for attaching the legs to the sofa and we had to guess and kinda just go with where we thought it should go. It's also very easy to lose a screw in the hollow legs unless you have a magnetized screw driver...there's no way to hold the screw down and actually screw it in since the opening in the leg/bar is too small.
Convertible Sofa, works good in camper

The color and material is just what I'd hoped for - the reddish brown doesn't look cheap or garish at all - is very attractive. Four stars instead of 5 because, 1) there weren't pre-marked places on where to screw the front leg to the bottom of the sofa - I just had to use my own judgment and it worked out fine; and 2) when it's open as a bed, the sides of it are comfortable, but there's a hard support bar right in the middle that makes it uncomfortable to lie on or across. Great buy for the money though.
