Disappointed I purchased four of these low voltage lights for steps on a new deck and I received them yesterday. From order to receipt took 14 days, with Thanksgiving during the 14 days. I was disappointed when I received them. They are a cheaply made product of China, I'm quite certain. The upper and lower louvers weren't uniformly open or curved. The lower opening is barely open. The copper was lightly, albeit noticeably, scratched on two lights. Hopefully the scratches won't be visible from a distance. Two of the lights were carefully packaged in separate boxes, but the other two were not; they were in a larger box and packed in a plastic bag with no bubble wrap. Two of the fixtures had light bulbs installed, and 2 were loose. The light bulbs don't screw in, they're all glass and push in (12 watt, 12 volt). When I tried to gentle insert one it broke off. Most low voltage lighting (e.g., Malibu) includes splicer to connect the light to the main wire. These did not. |
