It took a while to assemble, but it was not as difficult as I read in other reviews. I deducted a star because of the instability of the headboard. It wobbles and it must be against a bead for support. Also, other reviewers were correct about some of the holes being misaligned. Otherwise, it's amazing, and I am ecstatic about my purchase. This will look GREAT in my new apartment! P.S. the red strings were NOT attached to the tools, but the toolshardware were still in the box. Was this helpful? Yes / No
