Great design but dimensions are way off!

I just received my King size bed frame and am SO DISAPPOINTED! It's definitely not long enough and way too wide. If I pushed my mattress to one side, there's a 7 inch gap - width wise - you can totally see the slats! It definitely needs at least an additional 3-5 inches in length - it was incredibly difficult to even put on my bed sheets. I feel like my mattress is being squeezed to death. Also, the slates look a bit flimsy and afraid they're going to crack one day. Love the design but the product dimensions definitely needs to be modified.

great bed, terrible support slats
Product Review
It is a great looking bed. However, the slate that came with it are way underbuilt, and immediately fell apart the first time I got on the bed! Not a good sign I thought. The quality of the rest of the bed was fine. But the manufacturer needs to come up with a much, much better system for the foundation support.
