Great table at great price
Steve H. from Chicago, IL
We were looking to get a poker/game table delivered quickly, so we were somewhat limited in our options. This one was available and we liked it well enough to give it a shot. We were concerned that the wood might not be dark enough to match our room and that the quality might be a bit compromised, at this price (compared to other game tables). Well, we were pleasantly surprised. The table itself is of superior quality and was very easy to assemble, and it looks absolutely great- better than we had imagined. The hardest part of assembly was removing the staples that were used to attack the various straps (which held the parts) to the underside of the table. Also, be aware that this table is EXTREMELY heavy for its size. The wood is exceptionally dense and it took a lot of effort from two very strong men to navigate the box up two flights of stairs to the room where we wanted it. All that said, once put together (again, quite easy for a non-mechanically inclined person), it looks great and the wood and finish are of very high quality. I was not expecting it to be as nice as it is. The photo is pretty accurate with the colors. We weren't crazy about the style of the legs from the photo, but you have to remember that in real life, you're looking DOWN on the legs, while the photo is more looking directly at the legs, or slightly up. When looking at the table in its normal state, the legs actually look good. All in all, this table is a very good value. We would choose this table over tables priced 2x or 3x as high, because we can't imagine one looking much better than this one does. We've gotten numerous compliments on it.

The game table I purchased, as pictured above, was a disappointment. The first one arrived with damage and incomplete. When the second one arrived, I assembled it per the instructions supplied. The quality of the table was poor at best. While it looks like the picture, it is poorly constructed, not what I was expecting as described in the ad. The table is more like a $250 table than $890. Unlikely I will be buying any other furniture from Wayfair. Poorly represented in the ad.
convertible poker table and chairs

First table sent was defective, but prompt customer service sent a new table. The table was fairly easy to assemble but heavy. The chairs did not go together as easily and the seats are hard. The casters on the chairs are plastic and do not roll well on wood floors. Backgammonchecker board is cheap wood. Table is solid and can seat 6 easily, makes a good extra table for parties.
Meets our needs...

The table and chairs were fairly easy to put together. The stain finishes could have been of a better quality but for the price we are satisfied.

This table is a bargain for the price. I am using the non-gaming side as my dinette table. Love it! Love it! Love it!
