I was bound and determined to find a stool to my specs that I could sit in ahead of the purchase. Well, I did not find that scenario. After much contemplation I bought these stools and we are in absolute love with them!!!! My husband is a large guy and has room to spare when he sits in them!!! They do not say this in the description, but, there is a metal ring covering the foot ring!! What a great addition!! These are fabulous and do not hesitate to purchase. The company has been more than wonderful! The stools arrived in a couple days, we had a manufacturing issue with one stool and an entire new stool was shipped immediately!!!!!
