Screws need to be a quarter of an inch longer so I had to pick some up at the hardware store. I have had the stools (2) put together for only 2 weeks but they seem very sturdy, good construction, and are good for working at the kitchen counter. They match our decor well too having transitional dark metal fixtures throughout our house. I think we will have them for a very long time. Was this helpful? Yes / No

The only problem i had was that the screws that hold on the seat are too short to grab tight and end up pulling out.
