Hillsdale Dorchester Daybed in Brown Cherry - 287DBLH

This is exactly as pictured. Extremely easy to assemble... did it without help. I ordered furniture from Wayfair when it was called Wayfair and have been pleased with each purchase. I would recommend them to my friends.

It was not quite as easy to put together as the 70 yr. old woman in a revue said however it got together. I still have matresses to get and a cover. However I am very happy.

I was not as happy with Fed Ex. The first part,( the lower bed) was left on my front porch at 6:30 p.m when I was home. There was no knock or ringing of the doorbell. I am a single woman, 72 yrs old and this package weighted 50 lbs. Fortunately my neighbor, also in her 70's, and I could carry it into the garage with a little difficulty. I then followed the Fed Ex site for time of delivery and left notes on the door to please knock and ring. They did this and brought the next packages into the garage. UPS is much more helpful.

The daybed looks wonderful and has already survived a week with by two young (8 & 6 1/2) grandsons. The one problem - if it would have been a problem - was in the assembly instructions for the bed frame. After assembling the two pieces according to the instructions, I noticed that there were upwards pointed arrows at one end of each piece and of course I had put them together without seeing the arrows. I honestly don't think it would have made a difference - the pieces looked the same from any angle. But, always being taught to follow instructions I took the bed frame apart and reassembled. I am 70 years old and had no problems assemblying the day bed by myself.

The delivery came during the expected period shown in your email - BUT - there was no call from the truckers as to when they would be coming. As a result, the delivery was made when there was nobody home. I found three large boxes on my front patio when I came home. Thank God the weather was clear. I would hate to think how the pieces would look if we had had a soaking rain while the boxes were out on the patio.

The daybed [...]was easy to put together, did have a little difficultly with the springs they didn't seem to fit right but I figured it out and all is good.. Nice size bed grandson and other will be comfortable when visiting...

Easy to assemble with an assistant of course! Looks good, consistent with pics posted. With a good mattress its very comfortable! My long term guest is enjoying it - DANG IT! LOL

For office/guest bedroom. Good quality, went together quickly, every thing lined up and tightened without a concern. Trundle bed rolls easily on thick carpet. [...] Only reason I did not give a 5 star was the standard mattresses are rather cheap - useable but cheap. I anticipated this and had 1" memory foam pad & mattress pads for each bed. My adult nieces said they were very comfortable for 7 nights on daybed & trundle. This exact brand bed is on several websites - bedroomfurniture.com had the best price [...]
