A perfect match with our Dark Oak Mission office furniture and perfect as a spare bed. A perfect fit in the limited space we have. I'm a little concerned about reviews on the spring suspension deck! This is a very fine daybed but I did have one problem... I didn't consider mattress thickness when I bought the mattress in town while waiting for the daybed frame to arrive. The mattress I bought is very thick and plush with a padded top. The mattress in the picture that describes the product must be, at the most, four or five inches thick. The one I bought is, I don't know, about twelve inches (or more) thick. So, when I set it in the frame... the arms and back of the bed frame mostly disappear. Kind of a problem when the whole purpose is for the bed to act as more of a couch during the day and only as a bed if I have a guest. At this point, I might as well just have a small iron bed frame under the bed as I don't really see much of the wooden frame. A simple solution is to just make sure you buy a suitable mattress in the first place. It is a very nice looking daybed otherwise, and quite solid and easy to assemble."..." Read more

I was attracted to this daybed because it looked good. It had the modern, 'oriental type' feel that I needed to complete the 'all purpose' room it was being used for, and enough space to serve as seating or an extra bed. I bought it based on the look, but was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. Sturdy, heavy and well-made. Beautiul dark bronze color that goes with anything and the extra bonus of the support system coming with it (take note because some places will sell you just the frame and you will have to pay extra for the base).
