Hiking Packs

I got this backpack as a way to carry items to change into after a workout and this has been a terrific addition to my gear. The absolute best part is the bottom pocket that I can stick my sneakers or cycling shoes into so that they are nowhere near my clothes. The backpack expands so you can fit quite a bit of gear into it and still be comfortable. The padding on the back is think and soft so that it does not press right against your back. My husband used this backpack in our three week travels through the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland and Italy. He appreciated how secure it was against pick pocketers. He could even attach the pack to a table or chair while sitting in a restaurant and not worry about someone running off with it. It carried so many items. He used it for his little notebook laptop, his travel wallet, our file of important papers, any food for the day, any souveniers or gifts we bought etc. He also carried a 1.5 litre bottle of water in the outside pocket. If there was anything negative it was that the little loop in the centre top for hand-carrying would sometimes bother his neck if he wore it in the front at train stations.
