Great Featherbed! This feather bed is super comfortable and a great value! The materials are high quality, and there are no issues with getting pricked by feathers. Great! |

Like Sleeping on a Cloud As a 59 year-old man, I had concerns whether this product would give me a great night's sleep...or a perpetual backache due to its down feather softness, especially after reading a review by another user in my age bracket. But having used it now for nearly four months, I can report that it's one of the best purchases I ever made. I'd been stuck with an expensive, overly firm foam mattress, and I was desperate for something on top that would keep me from having to shift positions every 15 or 20 minutes, though for various reasons, I didn't care for a "memory foam" solution. This product was the perfect compromise. It's made to last with a design that prevents bunching up of the down material, plus the queen-size version fits perfectly over my mattress. I now sleep for what seems like hours in the same position...and being retired, I've been sleeping roughly an hour and half longer every morning, with far fewer "supplemental" daytime naps than I previously required. A word of caution, though. Having never had any significant back problems in my lifetime, I readily adjusted to the softness of this topper. It really is like sleeping on a cloud. But it may not be a viable solution for someone with recurring lower-back trouble. |

Comfortable but smelly I was excited to receive this item as I have been sleeping on a futon (a very high end one, but still, no springs) for the last 2 years. I wanted something to soften it up so purchased this down feather bed. It was super comfortable, but had a gamey smell which I just couldn't get rid of, even after airing out for long periods of time. If the feathers are super clean they shouldnt smell. There will always be some natural odor with these things (have a feather duvet which has a tiny amount) but this was too much. It seeped into my bed and bedding and i lost sleep due to it. Super comfortable but with extreme 'birdy' odor. Will be sending back if i can. |

Made a hard bed bearable I was looking to extend the life of my boyfriend's older bed as well as get a decent nights sleep. It was incredibly hard and every body part ached after a night. Since I have added this topper I can sleep and wake without aches. This topper is made beautifully with exceptional quality. The double stitching keeps feathers nicely in place-- no lumping. For the most part the entire piece stays in place with very little shifting from the mattress. If it was four inches thick it would be perfect. I am so satisfied that I am purchasing another one for my son's bed. |

Not for people with back problems This pillow bed is good, soft and comfortable, but it is too soft for the people with some back problems. After one week I sleep on this bed, I got back pain (I am 61 years old). Then I remove it and back pain gone within one week. I understood that I have to use more rigid bed. This is not the problem of this item. But, probably, this pillow bed is good for younger people. |
