I am the OwnerDirector of an Early Childhood Learning Center. We purchased two of these High Chairs this summer for our InfantToddler Room. I assembled them in about 5 minutes. The instructions were easy to read, and I did not need to use any special tools. These High Chairs are very sturdy. The harness adjusts easily with a child in place. The cover wipes clean with a damp cloth. We use the High Chair and the Low Chair option for our Toddlers. My 8 month old is able to sit at the table using the chair option. Love the it blends in with our other furniture - very stylish - and that we can use it as our baby grows. Can't be used on all floor surfaces so read up on it before you buy - Stokke website has great customer support & answered all of my questions. Didn't buy cushions & don't think they are necessary, but did buy the baby set for 6 mon. old. Our daughter loves sitting in her chair & the footrest & design give her good posture. Only negatives are harness is a bit difficult to undo and the design of the leg openings in the baby set makes it a snug fit to get in and out. If she is squirming when I put her in I often have to realign her legs, and if she bends her knees when I take her out I have to wait until she straightens her legs so I don't rub her knees. Once she's in it she's very happy, though, and I really enjoy that she sits at the table beside me. Think it helps with her social development & it works well on days where she wants to be close, but I want two hands to work on a project or type. Yesterday it let us 'have coffee' together after breakfast - we talked/babbled while I enjoyed my coffee and she played with her empty cup."..."  Read more

Highly recommend this high chair. This is our second high chair, and a much better choice than the first. This high chair is very cushy and has a very large serving tray. I also like how it can recline and has multiple height positions. Our former high chair had none of these features.
