The luggage was delivered in a reasonable time. It is lightweight and easy to use for packing. It survived our first airline trip, sustaining some scratches but otherwise in reasonably good condition. The hardside material has some flxibility to it and hopefully it will stand up with repaeted usage. Generally, I am satisfied with the purchase. The big question will be durability which will ony be answered in time.

I bought the set just prior to a trip to Australia because I wanted something light and durable. I had 9 total flights on the trip and only took the 20" & 26" with me. The 20" held up well as a carry on and I love the features and basic design. I do have some reservations about the durability of the telescoping handles though. They have a lot of play and the design of the handle being held by 1 small screw on each side combined with the arm warping created problems. The arms just aren't stiff enough and have too much play when extended. The problems became evident after only the 3rd flight. On the 26" luggage, one of the handle screws apparently came loose from the warping torsion on the telescoping handle arms and fell out, resulting in the arm it was attached to retracting into the arm slot and rendering it inaccessible for the rest of the trip. After that I checked the handle screws on the 20" bag and found them loose as well. I had to continuously tighten them for the rest of the trip to prevent the same thing from happening on the 20" bag. In addition, the luggae material itself is very susceptible to scuff marks and dents on the surface. Particularly the larger bag which got checked for every flight. I expect luggage to wear - just not that fast. The final nail in the coffin was after flight #8 when I discovered a 3" crack in the 26" bag that goes all the way through the case material. I have had the luggae 3 weeks and the 26" bag is already useless to me. The polycarbonate material is not durable enough and the telescoping arm/ handle attachment design leaves much to be desired.

This is the best luggage we have ever purchased and it was well worth the extra money. That being said the prices we paid was way cheaper than most places. I love the durability and hard sides because I find it easier to pack. I got the blue and my wife got the red and we are very happy. Thanks

After several International trips, the Heys luggage stands up to everything. The largest case has a mark from something heavy striking it but no internal damage. If you travel a lot, this is for you. Very lightweight and strong. In the future, I will purchase this brand again. This was my first Hayes purchase, but not the last. Also purchased the Heys MicroScale. This is a life saver in Europe. Most airlines charge to check baggage at the airport so checking bags online is easy with this scale to avoid excess baggage fees. Shows lb/kg.

I really like these bags, so easy to move around with the 4 wheels. Tons of space, took the two biggest bags to Italy for over a week. The only complaint is it seems they are maybe a little easy to damage. After the trip there was just a ton of scratches and the one bag was pretty much crushed on the whole one side. I realize that this is not all any one company's fault, but I would hope that my luggage would be made to take a beating from an airline.

I was very impressed with the high quality of this luggage. It is made very well and suprisingly light-weight for being hard-shell luggage. This was a great deal!
