Headboards

It was difficult to choose a headboard online without really seeing it and determining the quality of the product. After looking at what seemed to be hundreds of headboards we chose the Hillsdale Oak Tree headboard due to the way it looked in the pictures and the fact that it was real wood, not partical board. It is absolutely beautiful and goes with the other furniture in our guest room. We have a bit of a hodge-podge of furniture in the guest room due to two pieces coming from my wife's family. They are a very light ash wood and the dresser is a light cherry. The oak color of this headboard is in between and helps pull the colors together. The headboard itself goes very well with the rest of the furniture and is well made. We would highly recommend it. I love this headboard. It is very pretty, strong and sturdy. It was easy to put together by myself. It looks great with my existing medium dark brown wood furniture. I chose it to replace my large full/queen wood headboard which did not fit in the space in my new home. This one blends in very well with the other furniture and fits perfectly due to its smaller full size width and compact styling. It is exactly the width of a full size matress and does not extend out wider on each side like my old headboard did. The only thing that I was a little disappointed about is the color. It looks much darker than it did in the photos. I was expecting a more brown color. In the light in my home, it looks almost black with antique bronze accents.
