The laminate is little better than contact paper and wavy in the light. The composite wood is so loosely packed that even careful assembly results in splits. The back is two pieces of tri-fold cardboard. The instructions are vague and use as little hardware as humanely possible, making for confusing and unstable construction.The result, even completely filled with books, is unacceptable even in a very dark basement.

For the price these are great bookshelves! They came in a sturdy box with a clear set of instructions and they match our other furniture perfectly! Great height and very sturdy.

Very fast shipping...there was one small part that arrived damaged, but a replacement was shipped out immediately! CSN is an awesome company! Their customer service is top-notch!

I have a bunch of work related manuals and this is perfect to store them on. 1 shelf bows a little but overall it looks and works great! Took a little time to put together but I was prepared for that.
