You get what you pay for

No complaints. I didn't need the instructions to put it together. I added wood glue to each joint and reinforced every corner with extra pieces of wood. I cut a piece of used 3/8" plywood big enough to cover the back and add stiffness. The plywood back made it heavier but the doors came out squared and the gap between the doors is uniform from top to bottom. The drawers slide in and out smoothly and the whole Closet really feels sturdy. It isn't like my stick built furnature I built from scratch in the other bedrooms. I took extra time and effort to add reinforcement because I wanted sturdy furnature. The extra effort was worth it to me. I wouldn't call it flimsy and the material was good enough for me to work with. I feel it was worth what I paid for it. All the parts were in the box, that box was heavy, and the parts were well protected.

The instructions do look like a child wrote them. Do not attempt if you're easily frustrated.
Functional but not deep
Kyle from Washington, DC– Verified Buyer
Hubby and I were able to put this together over two evenings without tearing our hair out. Directions were a step above what you often get. The wardrobe isn't really deep enough for his suits - the doors have to hang a bit open. It would probably fit women's clothes better. But, overall, it works.
Good enough for what I needed

I know my boyfriend and my good friend took a while to build this but it's semi-sturdy and you get what you pay for. I'm changing the hardware on it to make it classier and nicer looking. It's holding my clothing just fine, and the drawers are quite spacious.
Its the little things

Overall I like the armoire. Two things would have made all the difference. The handles were some very recognizable off color cheap plastic. No big deal, ill replace them, but I wish I did not have to go to the store again to do it right. Second and a real big deal is the hinges. The fiberboard is a very weak substrate to screw into and the hinge mount screws are tiny. They will strip without effort and give no holding power. Again I will fashion a backing plate and through bolt the hinges as the design has demonstrated its fragility during assembly. Two little things that made all the difference for me. The units were affordable [...]
Perfect for storage!
Amy from Red Oak, TX– Verified Buyer
I used this piece as a shoe closet! I put adjustable, stackable shoe racks inside the top part for the perfect storage for my shoe collection. The rod was perfect for keeping my top of my boots from falling over.

Assemble was tuff. Could not believe all the parts for this unit. Definitely a 2 person job. Price was not bad and shipping is free! The handles are very cheap plastic but look good from a distance.
Product is ok...
Jennifer from Yonkers, NY
This product was SUPPOSED to hold my boyfriend's dress shirts, slacks & suits. It ended up holding his slacks, jeans, my skirts, my slacks & capri pants. It did not work for his shirts & suits because the depth of the closet does NOT hold standard size hangers. We are convinced this is for a kid's room whose clothes are still small enough to be on kid/smaller size hangers. (If you plan to hang pants/skirts using pants hangers, this would be perfect!) The two drawers at the bottom are average. They do their job...
