(I was able to repair the damage with a rubber mallet, leaving just a tiny crinkle.) I have had the cat food version of this product for several years now and am very pleased with it, so when our little Yorkie came to live with us, I knew I had to get one for her, too. The air tight lid keeps Her Furry Highness' food fresh, and the canister looks so much better in my mud room than a torn and crumpled dog food bag. Was this helpful? Yes / No

We get ants from time to time and the open bag sitting on the floor would have been trouble. The top is very light weight and I suspect would dent easily but it seals tightly; it looks very nice in the corner where I keep the dog stuff.
