I bought this small rice cook after read review on amazon. we are small family, have 3 people, so this is the right size for us, but if you always have guest coming, then this won't be enough. we use Japanese rice, and by the guide my rice wasn't cook throughly. t found out I need put half cup more water to do the job. I had tiger rice cooker before, it took longer than my older rice cooker, but easy to clean. there's people said no steam, but it does have steam, not much, but I notice there's small water puddle right next to the cooker, not sure how that happened, but definitely come from the cooker. so far, it works good.

I bought two and one for friends. Rarely find a ceramic one and the price is good, too

It's so difficult to find a rice cooker with a ceramic insert that doesn't cost a fortune. My first ceramic rice cooker was a Vitaclay. I hated the ceramic insert since it had an additional cover to take off. Also the ceramic was very fragile. The Hannex insert is sturdy and smooth. The lid operates like a traditional rice cooker. Open the lid and there's the rice. I like that there is a delay start timer as well. There was a smell coming out of the cooker on the first use, but hope it will dissipate over time.
Hannex Rice Cooker (4 cups)

The inner pot is made of ceramic, so it will never peel off like the other non-sticky materials with coats. I used to own a couple of rice cookers from the brand names, but they all ended up with the "decoated" pots. The design of Hannex Rice Cooker is simple, but it is easy to clean and works as well as the electronic rice cookers with MICOM (microcomputer technology).
cook rice as advertised but dont like the lid design

it cooks rice, nonstick and good. Watch the amount of water that put in - it will affect the quality of the rice, it cooked persianbasmati rice very nicely
Almost perfect appliance

The only thing that would make this appliance even better would be a setting for slow cooking at a low temp. I bought it for its rice cooking and stewing functions. It works well and the food cooks in a ceramic pot which makes it much more healthful than other rice cookers. Since it does not advertise as a slow cooker, I am giving it 5 stars for what it does well!
Good rice cooker

I decided to try out this rice cooker and I have been satisfied with the results. Easy to use and the rice cooks well. I tried different types of rice. Moreover I wanted to stay away from the Polytetrafluoroethylene based material (or similar) that is used as a stick-free agent in many rice cookers and go for a ceramic one.
Easy to cook, easy to clean

I am delighted with this cooker. Rice does not stick to the inside or cake as I've experienced with some others, the heat is very even and the warm function works well. I worried that the attached top would be hard to clean, but it barely needs to be wiped off. Also, the handle makes it easy to bring to the table for serving.
