Love these, but not west elm
MICHELLE from TWIN FALLS, ID – Verified Buyer
We were in a time crunch for couches and these arrived in two days. I love the color, we ordered the blue teal color. They were easy to put together. My hubby and I had both assembled in less than an hour. Cons: they don't look quite as tight as the pic. You have to stuff the cushions into the cases and I have to adjust and pull on them to keep them in place. On our set, the ends have some indents, like the foam is compressed. My biggest gripe is There are gaps in between the arm and the seat cushions and the back has gaps in the fabirc also, those make it seem like a cheaper looking sofa (if things fit tighter it would look higher end) Pros: my kids (ages 7 & 9)LOVE these couches. It is so easy to lay them flat, they can open them up and put them back upright themselves. They lay them down to watch movies, play wii, and sleep, they jump and crawl all over them, all evening long. These couches are super comfy. My kids have slept on them every weekend since we got them. I have taken a few naps, and my hubby and I laid one flat and comfortably fell asleep watching a movie the other night. The couches come in pieces so if you had to carry these upstairs or get them around a tight corner, you could without problems. Our family has slept on the and it's do-able for a couple...it's a full size when folded down. They come with pillows which I wasn't going to uses at first, but ended up being perfect accent pillows on the chairs in our room. Another bonus, our couches face each other and not the tv, so laying them flat makes our living room more functional for tv watching. Overall: we are super happy with these, our favorite feature being the easy fold down mechanism. They are what you pay for, we have had them 4 months and my kids jump on them and use the heck out of them and they aren't quite as tight looking as when we bought them. We plan on moving them down to the basement and getting a more expensive looking set to replace them. Good value for the money, great for college apartments, good extra sleeping space. Comfortable and love the teal color and fabric texture, perfect for our modern home

better than a futon but not as much cost wise as a sleeper sofa. Needed something we could assemble in basement since doorway was narrow. Love the different colors and the pillows that are included. VERY COMFORTABLE!!!!

This was the 3rd couch I had to order. The other 2(from diff web sites) were out of stock. Totally frustrated I ordered this one even though my husband didn't totally love it. I didn't have any issues with the couch looking "wrinkled" as others have said in reviews. I like the fabric because with wear and tear another similar couch by the same brand is I'm microfiber and I feel like microfiber is harder to keep clean stain and dust wise. It is hard to get it to recline, seems like just sitting or standing makes it recline or go straight. We have already had visitors sleep on it and we do put a memory foam mattress pad on it for them but even without it's more comfortable than another similar couch we owned. For it being our everyday couch and also for visitors to sleep on it was a purchase I am happy with and my husband likes it more in person. Also customer service when I called to order this couch was great. I wanted the 10% discount because I signed up for emails but I never received the discount email and the person I spoke to was very nice and gave me the discount.
Comfortable as Couch or bed
Kimberly from Valley Village, CA – Verified Buyer
Bought this for our quest room/office. It is comfortable as a couch or bed. We added a full size mattress pad when we make it into a bed for a little extra cushion. All our guests have given it a thumbs up. The color of the blue couch is more denim than it is a jewel tone. Overall this was a great purchase for us.
Great for price
Jennifer from Palos Verdes Estates, CA – Verified Buyer
Good price, easy to convert. Cushions deflate a little fast so that if you sit on the same cushion for a prolonged period of time it gets wrinkled. The corners of my cushions are still wrinkled from being in the box when getting delivered 2 months ago but I'm sure they will go away with time. Also, very comfy as a bed for guests, almost like a real mattress. This was a really good purchase for the price!!!
Nice sofa , nice color
Suzanne from Skillman, NJ – Verified Buyer
I ordered this for my daughter, lives in a 100 yr old home with nooks, crannies, smaller rooms and hallways. Her original sofa couldn't make it through the hallway nor the door to the Den so we opted for a sofa to assemble in the room, which fit in quite well. The color is lovely, assembly was relatively easy, the fabric is not a tight fit on the back , but smoothing it down and tucking in did a nice job. It is comfortable and converts to a bed for guests with ease. Good value for the price as well. We did look in furniture stores and were astounded at the price for something barely decent. overall we are quite pleased
Overall very happy

Purchased after a couple months of searching for a well reviewed convertible sofa. Sofa is firm, yet comfortable. The directions were easy to understand, but could've been a little clearer about the positioning of some of the pieces. I had to reverse the back brace piece after the entire sofa was together. The pillows are terrible & one of the zippers are already broken. Did not plan to use them anyway. Mom slept on it during her Thanksgiving visit. Said it was comfortable except for the seam down the middle. Overall very happy.

Love the color...its definitely teal but lighter in color than the picture. I only had the couch for about a month and I think that I will have to purchase a new couch within a year or two because it doesn't seem sturdy. My pillows and couch fabric were wrinkle for a few days which was fine. Satisfied with the color but disatisfied with the couch. Expected a more durable couch for the money....disappointed

I bought this couch on sale and am very pleased with the value. It arrived in one big box but was split up into about four pieces, so getting it in the house wasn't too much trouble (I couldn't have done it one my own though). Assembly was also fairly easy, it probably took us around a half an hour. The couch is comfortable and is very easy to convert to a bed. The color is a little more teal than I expected but I still really like it.
Great Sleeper Sofa Alternative
Jessica from Springfield, MO – Verified Buyer
This couch has been a great find for my apartment. I had been concerned about the color accurately matching the photos, but the color shown was very true to life - I love the blue! It is quite comfortable, both as a sofa and as a bed. The material also holds up very well to the abuse it takes from my very large dog who likes to cozy up on the sofa with me. The package arrived timely and while somewhat awkward for one person to put together on their own, I was able to get it assembled on my own doing my lunch break. As for the overall quality of the piece, it's not something that I expect will last for years and years, but I think that given the function and price point it was well worth the money. A much classier alternative to a normal futon, but less expensive and bulky than a regular sleeper sofa. Thank you Handy Living for manufacturing such a convenient piece!
