Have to be careful and clean 3 pcs after each use or water will build up and leak out the side. Hard to tell when pot shut off as it makes the same sound, several times during the brewing. Once I refined how much coffee, use of filtered water, etc, I am very pleased with this coffee maker. My 2-3 morning cups are not wasted as with the 12 cup maker I've used in the past.
