I used this several times over the holidays, especially for a large church choir party. It is also great for making big batches of stews, chili, and large cuts of marinated roasts that I then freeze part of for later. A great value and a real labor and money saver.

Product was almost half of what I found everywhere else. My wife really wanted this cooker because of the clips that hold the lid on. Too many accidents in the past while driving with the cooker

Like other slowcookers, this is great for a comfortable meal that's easy to throw together. However, this specfic slow cooker is great because of the clamps that allow portability, making it great for picnics or potlucks.

I have three or four different crock pots and this is the one I use first. It looks sharp and I love the face that I can take it to a party and I don't have to worry about the contents escaping due to the wonderful clamps to seal the lid.

I loved the looks of this crock pot so when I got it for Christmas I was thrilled. That thrill was short lived once I cooked my first meal.I have tried it three times with the same outcome every time.The rubber gasket has a very strong odor and the food tastes like the gasket..TERRIBLE!!!!

Unfortunately, mine did not come with the recipes mentioned, but that's really a minute detail. I love the way the slow cooker looks, it's shiny and sleek. Nice! It cooks a lot faster/hotter than my old dud that I was accustomed to cooking with, but it's not a negative. It's easy to clean. I love the clip locks on the side. It seems to make the cooker that much more effective.
