Not as great as I thought...

So the last review, praising this, is mine as well. I tried to use this product for making a pesto and it was impossible. The blade does not come anywhere close to the bottom or sides, so for making a small batch with small ingredients prove difficult. I was always taking the top off to scrap the stuff back down in and try to pulse some more. My latest review is that it's good for larger jobs, not so good for small jobs.

I used this product, finally, this weekend to make an olive dip and I couldn't have been more pleased with how well it worked. whole olives (black and green), tomato, onion (which usually makes me cry to no end)... all in chunks and tossed in. This machine is a monster (in a good way) and took care of all the dirty work for me! It's super easy to clean and even easier to use. I haven't had a chance to use the other features or the shredding disc, but I'd have to imagine it'll do just fine - it's super powerful!

Grates a block of cheese in seconds!

I originally bought this to make my own baby food, but I didn't know it could slice and grate! We use it to slice potatoes, grate cheese, and chop fruits and veggies as well as puree.
