I purchased this piece as part of a birthday gift for my son's new 1700's house. My daughter and I did a "While You Were Out" complete redu of his entranceway, and the Hall tree is the centerpiece. The room looks beautiful, very inviting, and the hall tree is so useful. It matches the house perfectly. I did a lot of research when looking for a hall tree, and when I saw this one, that was it. Everyone loves it. It arrived on time, triple boxed and in great shape except for a couple very small places where the finish was rubbed off, but I was able to fix them with a stain pen. Took about 2 hours to put together, but completely worth it. This is a sturdy, solid product - I saw the same thing on other sites, and this one was about half the price. The cushion is a little too thin/foam - but pretty stain-resistant (coffee came off!) and it's perfect for kids to sit to put on shoes. Plenty of storage space for shoes - I purchased 2 baskets for the storage areas. Perfect for a small back hall space. Looks like a $900 Pottery Barn hall tree. You will be very happy with it."..." Easy to assemble, 30 minutes, all wood, beautiful and looks richer than the picture. We looked at so many hall tree's and we couldn't have made a better pick and nor will you.
