Hagen Medium Vision Bird Cage with Small Wire - 83250/5

Purchased a single (not the double pictured). Green perches look awkward, but our birds really like them. Wish they were longer to span the cage width. It took a bit of adjusting to "design" the perches for maximum manueverability... Added two additional branch style perches and one long wooden ladder (Petco) to run from top/back of cage to the wire floor so that parakeets could hop from perches to ladder to get down to lower perches and floor/food easily. Have had no problems with droppings getting into their food dishes (a previous reviewer had complained about this). You must install the plastic dropping shield and it probably helps to position the perches to avoid a direct overhang as some could possibly splatter (?) Really not been a problem here.

This is a very cool cage and the Parakeet loves it and so do we. An easy clean unit. GREAT!

After searching for a birdcage for my finches,(Salt and Pepper), I came across the Hagen Vision at a local pet store. Although they did not have one assembled, I found all the features I had been searching for, displayed on the box. It not only has sleek modern look, but is extremely user friendly! Very easy to clean and maintain, with a clear shield around the bottom, to keep the mess inside. I have since, purchased two more finches, (Sugar and Spice). I couldn't have made a better choice!

It was easy to put together. My birds have not adjusted to going to the bottom to eat so I had to put food and water cups closer to the top. Other than that they seem to like it just fine.

Ive had my baby love bird for three years and it stinks cleaning up around the cage constantly Ive had the cage for a month and I havent had the feathers and seed every where with the exception of when i opened up the bottom to change the paper! what an amazing feeling. bird was confused for a while but shes adjusting ok now and loves the extra space

great cage for easy access to clean replace foodwater I have finches its perfect fit for 4 finches, their claws do not gety caught in wire-safe

All in all, good construction. Was a little flimsy on build and prob, will be a project to clean but is a good trade off for keeping the floor clean from fresh fruit.
