Too modern

I love this dollhouse. Period. My son, who requested a dollhouse for Christmas last year... does not. He says he wants a dollhouse that looks like a real house... so I guess that's a mom-fail... As for the dollhouse, it is nice. It is easy enough to put together, but I will say that it doesn't STAY together well. I have to routinely re-tighten the bolts every-so-often to make sure the second and third floors don't come off if I need to move it anywhere. It is a very heavy dollhouse as well. I do think the solar panel is a neat idea, but it doesn't really put out much light, other than just for pretend purposes. All in all, it was a sound purchase. Even if it was vetoed after the fact. lol.
