Nice looking but would not buy again Product Review This sectional looked great in the showroom. The seats are a bit shallow with the back pillows in place (it's not comfortable without them) but still ok. Initially, the foam was quite hard, but still comfortable. Now, after only 2.5 years of daily use by two slender adults, it has the opposite problem. The foam has gone so soft that it just caves when sat upon (very uncomfortable) and stays indented when you get off. This also causes the edges (primarily the front, where a person's legs would dangle off) to sag and lose their shape (thus ruining that pleasing angularity of the piece.) The shoddy build quality is disappointing given the price tag. If I had to do it all over again, I would not choose this sectional. This also makes me wary of other products from Gus. Service Review Delivery took a few weeks but was on-time. The sectional arrived with 1 bent leg. We called the local Gus dealer and they sent a repairman the same week who fixed the problem in 1 day. |

Tearing at most seams by 2 1/2 weeks! DO NOT buy products like this from gus modern. We have had our sectional (carter, putty fabric) for only 2 1/2 weeks with VERY LIGHT USE and it is already tearing visibly across the seams on the lounge portion of the sectional... I'm not sure it's chance, either, as the couch portion is starting to do the same thing. We are slender, careful owners who have been sitting in the couch probably less than an hour a day by the time we noticed this. I hope I can still return it--what an expensive piece of garbage. It looks cool, and sits "ok" but is not terribly soft. So much for the "durable" that one person claimed. I would highly recommend against any of these products by Gus Modern that have multiple seams. |

Shorter than expected! I have the flannelsuede, it's nice and soft. The couch is very short. The height of the couch includes the pillows that are removable, so you should keep that in mind if you purchase. I also thought the chaise would be longer. Overall, it is a good pick, and it fits my contemporary decor well. |

I like it I ordered the flannelsuede. I like it, but I wonder if I would've liked totem storm better. Also, the couch is short (24 inches w/o pillows), I didn't realize that the removable pillows were considered in the overall measurements. |

Lovely sofa Product Review Love this sofa. Unfortunately the totem storm fabric is not cat proof and is already showing some wear from cat claws. But the form and lines are beautiful. Service Review The delivery took longer than I wanted and the customer service, while friendly, was a bit confusing (they erroneously informed me it had shipped when it had not and it took a while to sort everything out). But I would use the site again. |
