The boat is incredibly well done, artistically. The sides are of a masonite-like material but sturdily constructed. I thought the price was a bit high for this product. Others offer is at a similar price, however. But, anything for our grandson whom I want to introduce to boating and the ECU Pirate Nation. Was this helpful? Yes / No
