The 2nd step gives her the extra boost that she needs to wash her hands. Due to the extra step, you really need to make sure you help your child back down. It is a solid step stool. Was this helpful? It gets water poured on it and has dirty shoes tramping over it which make a sort of muddy mess. It wipes clean nicely and is sturdy. The reasons I chose it for him are because: it fit my height requirements; it has a storage space under the top step which he loves and it is so beautiful - the pale blue color and animal design are lovely. The stool enables her to reach the sink and the Rocker has become her favorite place when she is watching her favorite shows.
